Even though the Eastern Iowa of our youth was being what we wanted to be within reason, but, I feel that there is a certain collapse of Friday Night Energy across the board no matter how hard we tried. And, to add to the agonies, I am afraid this Summer would turn in to a "The Block Is Hot" Summer that had lit our big cities off the handle and spout.
I think Iowa City High and Iowa City West High's would recede once Liberty High had a proper underclass. And, Bett is receding, too and having to think we'd have stronger Southeast Iowa Football and a rare Waterloo East vs. West Playoff Round or Cedar Falls having to go East and Outdoors to Memorial Stadium for a memorable Playoff Round.
And, to add to the pain, having Bryce Paup be a PJ Fleck Minnesota Golden Gopher means 3 Things: The Badlands won't beat us forever, Northern Iowa, Upper Iowa and Iowa Athletic Fortunes sink and the exit route out of Iowa has opened like an empty interstate. I don't like seeing us not holding it together without being overruled and having missed the rare Chance the Rapper Concerts that rivaled Elvis and Motown in Chicago.
And, I think the City would turn into Jefferson's 1st since 2000, Mt. Vernon couldn't stop the Amana Clock and I feel a jumpy educational issue would throw my city into a typhoon and would building the Mall be cheaper than trying to remake it and spotting where 16 Plus was in the Internal Mall Shell via the Lightpost?
