I feel the problem at root, is for future tense, at least having more of a leeway to honor Originally Slated Gamedays. Even though Mr. Pollard is trying to keep Postseason Eligibilty, but, I feel there has to be concern for keeping slated gamedays.
We couldn't manufacturer our way out, especially if we had slate since Last Summer, for instance, and the players are getting lanky and lethargic. Or take serious readiness as a serious joke and the sellout streak is over.
And, we'd have a lanky Texas, Oklahoma and Nebraska, and to make life worse, we'd hire away Mt. Union, North Dakota State and Northwest Missouri State as a standoff plan. And, serious readiness is not a laughing matter, especially when we are scrambling for everyone else.
But, I have problems with having the lack of timing, not acting ready, or blowing out the biggest classroom in your state or school like it was play. And, just spending down recruiting until 2025 is not good. And, I feel just going home over anything is not good.
But, in the end, I feel there has to be more bid on preserving scheduled gamedays.
