I would like to see a Return to the Single Class Indiana State Basketball Tournament not just because that this year's tournament is incomplete, but, it would mean more to have 1 State Basketball Champion instead of 4 in Hoosier Hysteria.
What I don't appreciate is our March Madness Homelands are incomplete this year in Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. This is not necessarily pertinent to our scene, which we are home to the Best State Championships in America, but, I would feel like Illinois would need to roll out the Red Carpet for the State Tournament's Champaign Urbana Return and at least significantly entertain replacements for Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadium.
I would feel like it would reset the structure of State Basketball in Basketball's Biggest State having to have 1 Class instead of 4 and I think from a Sports Reason, that should be an annual point of pride, even if it was a Super State, which would be a big and intense ask for a state of Indiana's Stature.
