I feel like word on the street is the Oakland A's are setting up to become the Las Vegas A's and that would be the only acceptable move in that case. I feel like the A's currently and disproportionately need game days to make money, which this turf fight is not helping.
The Athletics got Moneyball, and the 3rd Worst Annual Postseason Win Hex and 4th Overall. I would feel that there would be nothing worse than having to see a city lose its teams and more worse than a city lose its teams because they have nothing to offer.
The Coliseum is not inhabitable and to make it worse, you can't Airbnb it like in Pensacola. What freeing the Coliseum would do is free up its older stadium counterparts, like Angel Stadium, Dodger Stadium, Fenway Park and Wrigley Field. The unintended consequence is just the inability to make Money in the East Bay would cause problems in other ways.
