08012025 College Football Poll

 Without further ado, here is my 1st College Football Poll of the 2025 Season.

1 Missouri          8-13 @ 2 Kansas

I'd Start With Missouri because I would feel that I would like to see Potentially 3 Border Wars in the Same Year as DMX Albums.

2 Kansas          8-13    1 Missouri

Missouri, Kansas and Iowa State are the Only Big 8 Teams without an Ensuing Postseason. And Kansas and Texas Tech are the Only 1996 Big XII Members Without a Conference Championship Game Appearance.

3 Northern Illinois 8-30 Holy Cross IDLE

I'd base my decision for Stop the World on Last Year's Notre Dame Victory

4 Kennesaw State 8-29 @ Wake Forest IDLE

The Owls would be a Solid Pick in Conference USA

5 SMU 8-15 17 Rice

I would feel that the Ponies are Due for A National Championship, Heisman Trophy and a Takeover of Valley Ranch.

6 Hawaii 8-12 Mt. Union (OH)

Hawaii would be the 1st Slate of the Season and I'd start with a Defending Champion or an Honorable Team at Hawaii.

7 Tulsa 8-13 18 Ohio State

I'd like Tulsa's Mayor who'd be a Tulsa Golden Hurricane Alumnus.

8 Iowa 8-30 Albany IDLE

I would want Iowa to Win the Big Ten so that Passing Woody Hayes was not in Vain.

9 Notre Dame 8-31 @ Miami (FL) IDLE

Catholics vs. Convicts.

10 Georgia Southern 8-30 @ Fresno State IDLE

I would take Georgia Southern because they are a Dangerous Playoff Team and Proven It.

11 Vanderbilt 8-30 Charleston Southern IDLE

My pick of Vanderbilt would be because most Everyone Else in SEC Country has been in the Headlines.

12 Texas Tech 8-30 Arkansas Pine Bluff IDLE

The Red Raiders are One of the Two Southwest Conference and Prior Conference Hexes Still Going.

13 Miami (OH) 8-28 @ Wisconsin IDLE

The RedHawks would be a Reliable Championship Team.

14 Western Kentucky 8-23 Sam Houston IDLE

The Hilltoppers Would be Tough to Beat

15 Louisville   8-30 E. Kentucky IDLE

The Cardinals would look the Part of an Earned Playoff Team

16 Colorado State 8-30 @ Washington IDLE

I would like to See Colorado State be Cool Again

17 Rice               8-15 @ 5 SMU

The Owls are the Only Southwest Conference Team not to Return to a Major Conference

18 Ohio State    8-13 @ 7 Tulsa

I'd feel the Buckeyes would back into their National Championship and it shows

19 Washington State 8-30 Idaho IDLE

The Palouse is a Pullman after Idaho returned to the FCS and

20 Louisiana 8-30 17 Rice IDLE

The Ragin' Cajuns are Sun Belt Favorites
