It drive me nuts that we don't have in the Rotation Cup winners from both more than 1 Lap and Wire to Wire. I'd count the times when Martin Truex,Jr. had Dale Jarrett Victories and nearly no one, actually no one, has gone wire to wire on the Coca Cola 600 and Indianapolis 500, let alone anyone in analog Auto Racing.
What's shocked me is both have happened once since 1979 and 1992, but, not on the same day. They've happened 6 Years Apart, and it would be easy to pick apart film, but that wouldn't be the whole story.
I don't think in 3 Years, you'd have these blots of dominance. If Toyota had to go home to find Stock Car Stars, it would be a shock to Most Americans, but, the believable would be greater than putting in money for Season Tickets and not getting anything back from them.
We've had both Indianapolis 500 and Coca Cola 600's go more than one lap in victory. It would change the game for the better if it was More than One Lap and Wire to Wire Winners. I'd actively insist on Sports Accomplishments and we are not currently getting them in a good light, either.
Wire to Wire Dominance would take a lot of work, and I don't think that comes automatically.
