What if Avanti Was Lent a Chance to Develop?

I feel like our relationship with Detroit Marquees is not that deep as it should. And, what is rough is wondering what if Avanti was lent a chance to develop like the proper classy lady it should had been?

Saturn was grassroots to the end,  and not having a mainstream Motorsports line hurt their ability at 30. And, I think the slow burn of Oldsmobile when the Show Was Really Over at Pro Stock and that degenertively affected both Stock Cars (Pro Stock and Stock Car Racing). And, Pontiac's god awful 1994 ended the marquee's first run and made John Force Racing be a Pontiac Team when they had Chevrolet Camaro bodies sanded.

If the leadership was not so out of control and insistent, I feel it would have been closer to a go between Cadillac and BMW. Having to think more Subaru or Volvo, had they had a decent customer base, and the final straw was nearly belly upping Miss Universe.
