3000th Blog: Cedar Rapids Indoor Ice Hockey Started 22 Years Ago Tonight

For my 3000th Blog, Cedar Rapids Indoor Ice Hockey Started 22 Years Ago Tonight. I feel that I would wish we would be closer to Minnesota than Chicago as far as Ethics, but, that is another story.

I feel that here in Cedar Rapids and Marion, there is not a Sense of Fresh Paint in Local Hockey Lore. There is no Summer Vacation Ice Rinks in Marion or the East Side of Cedar Rapids. I'd love to become Johnny Appleseed and Build Indoor, Summer Vacation Ice Rinks, but that is just me.

But it can't all be me and no no one else. That would be dangerous and it would take 10 to 15 Years of Commitment before we'd have an accepted part of our culture. That is having to think long and hard and we'd have Hockey Alumni, but, not a lot of Hockey Culture.

If we kept going, we'd have to Reinvent Ourselves, including having Downtown Cedar Rapids Ice Hockey Ice for the Year.

I feel that the Bell Will Ring on the Cowbell Cup!

I am thinking the cacophony of the Cowbell Cup with Waterloo having PK transfer to General Management, when they never had made the Playoffs or Won the Them, Dubuque having arena issues that would deter the Cowbell Cup Revival, and Cedar Rapids returning, it is the fact the Bell Will Ring on the Cowbell Cup.

I would like to say my Crowd Control Phrase, but, that would get me in hot water with the Site and a Few of My Blogging Friends. I'd feel that we'd be stuck in an unintended consequence phase of the Cowbell Cup for missing a Year and that is telling a lot.

It hits like a Runaway Freight Train and not a lot of Eastern Iowa is currently Fun and Games. I'd think if it wasn't for a Lot of Things, the Junior Hockey Model would need calling out and tbere'd be more of a focus on Minor Pro Hockey.

Ridertown is Back!

I am happy that Ridertown is Back in Cedar Rapids! My Home City has not earned having a Hometown or Home Area Pick that is not a Make-A-Wish or Jerry's Kid, but, there are other things they've earned fair and square.

The Roughriders have been my City's Lone Professional Hockey Club and the Lone Professional Hockey Championship. Even though the Heartlanders are the area's 1st Major Professional Club in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, but, the Roughriders have been my City's Club.

The Roughriders have not been back since March 2020, and it has been an earthy time since then.

The first time Professional Hockey was played in my City was the Same Day as the Music City Miracle and it was National News. Even though my City hasn't been pushing toward the same team, and Kamp Krusty was on the Other Side in Hockey, I'd feel like giving another Championship a Go in the Stable is going to be a goal.

Even if I was elsewhere, I wouldn't transfer even temporarily.
