 Tampa Bay beating Montreal in the Stanley Cup Finals actually does the Lightning no favors for their 3rd in a Row, which would be the 1st Since the Isles of Denial. I'd think that the quality of a 3 in a Row or More would do no favors, especially if we had not had a Dynasty since the Early 1990's.

Montreal does not forget and beating Toronto in a Playoff Series would have came for naught. If I was a Montreal Fan, I would have every right to be angry. I wouldn't want a 3 In a Row, especially when a Lucky Break by Brett Hull iced one Edmonton Oilers 3 in a Row and The Trade iced another. The Penguins 3 in a Row was iced by Mario Lemieux nearly dying tomorrow, and the Red Wings 3 in a Row was ruined by Konstinov and Fetisov and the Penguins next 3 in a Row was iced by Las Vegas being an instant contender.

I feel this is Too Much of a Good Thing like the Student Section, and I'd be happier to pack up the Student Section and put it away. Not only that, in hindsight, we should have had the Montreal vs. Edmonton Series just to pick it up.

Even though it was not 18 Years between Back to Backs,but, this one was not Last Summer to the Next. Other than not denying Tampa Bay has a Strong Core, but, that would be effortlessly efficient.

This has to be nothing short of an emotional post, and I do believe if they pull the Molson Indy out of Toronto, it would finally burn Toronto in its Long Term Pocketbook. It will likely be long past 18 before their Playoff Series Hex would be freed up.

Their Stanley Cup Hex would be another story, as the indifference by Leafs Management has a new nerve in their tortured history. Alan Eagleson and Harold Ballard where nothing short of Butters and Cartman, except instead of arguing about HBO, they where at each other's loggerheads.

I do not take any pride in Toronto's Crucifying, nor I take any pride in Recoloring the CN Tower, which is as much part of Toronto as it is Canada. In the Grand Theft Auto of the Greater Toronto Area, you are drawn back in quicker than "The Godfather".

Would taking the Molson be a Sweet Getback? You betcha, and sadly, Torontoians are going to hate this period with a Passion. Instead of Butters and Cartman, you have Drake and Bieber monopolizing Pop Culture and it would be the "Fool Me, Can't Get Fooled Again" tactic in "No Role Modelz".

Chicago missed the Golden Year of their Camelot Hex, and they've gone through a lot of inoperable tumors.  The haunting of the Toronto Maple Leafs just won't quit, from Plane Crashes, to International Mysteries and Lores that where So Weird before So Weird, and being the last Original Six Era Facility to be in business because Madison Square Garden's Current Iteration came the Subsequent Fall.

What Alan Eagleson caused to the point of unforgiveness was how much different would we have had a Whalers, North Stars and Nordiques in their 50th Year or More rather than in memory? It is not just a Toronto Issue or a Grand Theft Auto Issue in the Greater Toronto Area even now.

The Summit Series was a National Tragedy and a National and International Shame to many of Canadians even now and that was a part of the reason that Canada couldn't bring home the Gold for 50 Years in the Olympics. A lot of the Canadians where not Boy Scouts necessarily, but, compared to the Soviets, they where cleaner cut compared to the harder living Soviets.

Where the fact Toronto is getting crucified and burnt at the stake worse than ever is Drake and Justin Bieber's Pervasive Womanizing. Toronto currently is monopolizing Pop Culture and not letting anyone else have it. This is dangerous and Toronto is Openly and Loudly Mocked and Not Just the Maple Leafs for not only losing to the Canadiens and Montreal, but blowing it to the Canadiens and Montreal.

The Whalers, North Stars, and Nordiques Injustices and Slights where Preventable in Hindsight. What it does is the Maple Leafs are more burnt worse than the Sabres, who haven't made the Playoffs in a Decade, and that is not good.

The Maple Leafs have not won a Playoff Series in 17 Years, and there are no missing planes this time. I'd feel instead, it is full on incompetence and the Maple Leafs committing to Back to the Future Contracts when instead of Draft Picks, it was Cosplays who impersonate the Maple Leafs.

To think of it this way, Eagleson was only Giving Away Money and Ballard was Baylor before Baylor. The fact of the matter is the Maple Leafs will have to have a Fire Sale before the Expansion Draft, because it is not the Florida Hockey Panthers, it is the Montreal Canadiens, the International Powerhouse of Professional Sports and racing to catch hell over defeating Montreal just to Win Your Stanley Cup is not worth it. 

Bob Goodenow, "Cape" Donald Fehr, and Bill Daly are not nice people and every time we've had a Business Disruption in the NHL, we'd thank a Perverse Mount Rushmore of Problems and one of the crueler twists to our Opening Night was the Night Bill Masterton died in 1968 was our Opening Night, and that was not OK.

 I do not find the twin hexes of the Toronto Maple Leafs, both Postseason and Stanley Cup, be amusing. The Toronto Maple Leafs Stanley Cup Hex is Past the New York Hockey Rangers and I said back in 2013 that the Maple Leafs would pass the Rangers.

It was not flattering or fun and the Maple Leafs Hex is worsened and then some. Toronto is not respected in the International Sports Community and compared to Montreal, it doesn't carry the same weight.

The Maple Leafs Playoff Series Hex has gone on since 2004 and that includes America Pushing the Bruins in 2013 and the Ghosts of the Montreal Canadiens pushed the Canadiens over the line.

It would be Over The Line if the Canadiens or the Islanders do not win the Stanley Cup. If Las Vegas took the Stanley Cup at the expense of the Canadiens or the Islanders, that would shake the opinion of Las Vegas.

Why Not Focus on a Full On Tear Down/Rebuild of BOTH Montreal Forum and Maple Leaf Gardens?

I feel like wanting to at least challenge the gears of infrastructure, and what no better way would we have in a Full On Tear Down/Rebuild of BOTH Montreal Forum and Maple Leaf Gardens? I'd feel there'd have to be period/year specificness in Stanley Cup Banners, Retired Numbers in English and French and other key luminaries.

And, I feel from an Olympic Concern, having to have NBA Expansion in Montreal and I feel the Molson Centre (Original Name) is not winning returns and the Air Canada Center (Original Name) is just as off, too.

And, I feel there has to be Arena Football League considerations, later, even though it'd be both the Queen, and being Hyperlocal at the same time. And, I'd love nothing sweeter than Toronto's Arena Football League turf to be Boise State Blue or Plumber's Blue.

And, I think it'd be the riskiest gamble to keep the AHL in both Montreal and Toronto Propers without having to be dislocated or worse in Pro Hockey Future. And, I feel there has to be tangible return/expense report that is healthy, or to backchannel their modern counterparts.

I feel like here goes nothing, but, I sense it would take 1 Year to Tear Down, a Second to Build and 3rd to Open
