Why Not Lancia in Modified Racing?

I feel why not Lancia in Modified Racing because to most Americans, Lancia remains a Myth. I would blow the cover off the myth in wanting Dodge back in Cup again, and more of a Pro Stock Influence.

I feel there is more Fiat Chrysler Marquees than that of General Motors and Nissan Combined, which is telling a lot. Instead, there are a lot of agendas from Motown and Italy.

I'd want Lancia in Goody's Dash only to see the reactions of the Hard Working Fan and their Family, and I'd feel the appropriate Guinea Pig is the Whelen Modified Division for Lancia. I wonder if a marquee that only currently sells in Italy would be great in Stock Car Territories?

Stranger things have happened and I'd think that it would take wining, whining, and dining and a lot more for that to happen. Lancia has been known to push the envelope, especially at the expense of their company, and I'd don't know if most of my Fellow Car Americans would have a Cow over Lancia's Return?

What if the Lancia Stratos returned to Rally Racing?

Reading about the mammoth larger than life Rally Monsters of Group B of the Mid 1980s, I am wildly curious what if the Lancia Stratos actually returned to Rally Racing? Other than hearing a holy ghost in action like Jeff Scott ripping a Touchdown for Mississippi into the Night against Vanderbilt that we had no business otherwise, but, I feel for curiousity sake, why not let it rip.

For serious, it feels as if no option is as frivolous or off the table within reason. With rally racing being the toughest 4 Wheel Racing anywhere on the planet Earth and rightly so, and I think the fans would deserve some right of seeing these giants roar.

I don't think I'd want to just be another promotional that leaves people as quickly as it came back, but, if we did some version of rallying in America like from Racetrack to Racetrack or to properly give credit to Pike's Peak again and try to portray the Pikes Peak and the Baja 1000 as a proper Road to rather than another aspirational offering.

Getting the Lancias sold outside Italy would be no easy task. The Lancias would have been off our shores since 1982 and we'd have to do a Stadium Truck or Stadium Racing Series better than we did now. To think of an American equal of the 1970s and 1980s, we'd have to think the infamous Pro Stock Mountain Motors that where more of a sandlot to the point they had no real way of sticking long term.

Would there be desire to get Lancia across the Atlantic? In reality, there'd have to be a true educated community to by those cars, but to aftermarket those parts. We've called Dallara every different name not printable, but, if we had someone really interested in those cars and their parts, it wouldn't matter who it would be making those aftermarket parts within reason.
