I feel that losing JCPenney would be the last thing standing from Westdale Mall History. I'd hold tight to the Wild West, which is my name for Westdale Mall, which has been gone for years.
Regrettably, Last Christmas hits very different for all the Wrong Reasons, which I won't air out.
My fair city has 1 Mall (Lindale Mall) and it is doomed under the same Slimy and Indifferent Brass that torpedoed the Best Shopping Option from the West Side of Cedar Rapids to Ames.
What stings is my City is too Cold to Care and the Penney Lease is a Bigger D-Day than anything the Phoenix Coyotes could sling around. I'd feel the attempts to reinvent the Wild West have gone flat, and that is to put it mildly.
