I feel even though it's not Mother's Day until Sunday, but, in this bad kind of Go-Go-Go Decade, the Patriots where serious on delaying LaGarrette Blount Contract. I know the only good reason New England is still partying and Atlanta and the other 31 would have been upset and moved their way is Gostkowski.
If the next Sam "Bam" Cunningham was doing the Drake Relays instead of Alabama Spring Football, I doubt Mother's Day would have been allowed to happen. And, it would have had the good taste and morals in needing Stephanie or any other Woman who is not in the Sports Business to say yes to a problem star's future pay.
In scary time, I doubt presentation losses will be good. They won't be good if the powerhouse team is stuck on Sports Radio and the announcer has a Budweiser in one hand, and the mic in the other like Howard Cossell and the owner would have been aspirational and aloof.
And, speaking of future pay, could we have used Mother's Day on Gronk or Brady or Belicheck? I know Bill Belicheck knows everything and then some about NE Ohio High School Pantheons like Jim Tressel, but, we can't do "Leave it to Beaver" again. And, speaking of pantheons, they need love and respect. We can't do respect if we know he wouldn't marry early. We can't do respect if we know he can't pick his way through Greece to find his Sisters In Law.
And, next Mothers Day, I am sure we will get a bowling ball instead of unrealized hype. If we want someone, bug Arkansas for who they promised and promised in a time sensitive time and got underuse unless someone hurt. And, next Mother's Day, do us a favor and buy Jasmine's or Jenna's Stuff like they need to be in an elevated state. And, next Mother's Day, if we had the stadium janitor on the boards, take him and deal the problem jock to af2.
