01022018 National Championship of College Football Results

I feel even though I am a day late, in this raw cold, but, I will do a triplestint of Playoff Results Today and Tomorrow belatedly to make up for it. And, without further ado, here are upsets and then some starting in the Midwest Region...

"Appalachian State Ices Duluth" is an apt headline because this is where in typical National Championship of College Football Tradition, upsets happen in the bunches and early and often

29 NC State 7-3 10-5 vs. 20 Auburn 8-2 12-3

This would be the first NC State vs. Auburn College Football MeetingSince 1979 (Series Tied 1-1) and if this was real reality, it would the first such meeting North of the Mason-Dixon Line.

Terre Haute Sub Regional

9 Wabash 7-2 11-3 @ 8 Rose Hulman 9-1 11-2

This is the 1st Postseason Wabash-Rose Hulman in Postseason History (PROVE ME WRONG). And, again, this would not be gentlemanly of a Small School Matchup, even though both started as All-Guys Single Ed and secondly, not be harmless, either, even though Wabash Football Glories are buried in Sport History and made both Indiana State and Kansas State Fight Songs.

Sioux City Sub Regional
16 Chicago 5-2 9-4 @ 1 Morningside (IA) 10-0 15-0

The Chicago Maroons have had Line Rival Johns Hopkins and Illinois Memorial Stadium Appearances and Glories Written In. The Morningside Mustangs have had American Hero in Paris and Lucky and Good Written in like it was effortless. But, the depth in Cook and Woodbury Counties would be if they had even a socially acceptable Arena Football, let alone being 11 on 11 in the future.

Platteville Sub Regional

11 St. Scholastica (MN) 8-3 9-4 @ 6 UW Platteville 6-3 10-3

It's going to be Duluth vs. Platteville. The Winner would have a shorter run and the loser would have 2nd Semester and Maybe an Extended Winter. (If your Duluth, that is definitely for 40 Weeks of the Year)

NC Central over Eastern New Mexico is not as upsetting as UAB over Southern Oregon Later, but, it lids a Landmark Year of Enchantment and Excitement in College Football in the Land of Enchantment

I feel having to legitamize Sacto like it is personal or better yet, my home turf. Other than being the lone California Sub Region, it is appropriate it is in the Long Neglected and Often Rough Capital Region of California
28 Reinhardt (GA) 7-0 11-1 @ 5 Sacramento State 6-2 10-4
And, I hate to leave a 2nd Set of Notes in Detail, but, actually getting a Georgia vs. California this College Football Postseason is an added bonus.

And, with my Arizona State 3 in 3 Pull doing wonders last November, but, later this Winter, with Todd Graham dismissed and Herm Edwards actually coaching his first College Games in 30 Years, it feels like Western College Football is really not in a good place

I feel The Western US College Football still sounds more different and not a good different, and I wonder if either a First to the Coast or Making it Out of the East Coast would have to be a push.
