How Would a Real Life Mountain West 1999 8/ Giant West Conferences Look Like?

I feel that my rebuttal to why San Jose State and Hawaii potentially not being in the Mountain West would have been lock the 1999 8 just to get the BYU-Utah Non-Conference Championship Game Conference Final Easier would be flush with pride.

I would not go with the WAC Superconference defactory, because Louisiana Tech ALWAYS Complained they didn't have another Southeastern Opponent in their Conference. I'd insert Sacramento State as my 8th, because even though Gonzaga would restart College Football in due time, and squaring away the Aggies in the Top Division of College Football (UC Davis, Texas A and M, Utah State and New Mexico State) would be a bit unreal, but I don't want to fall for that yet.

Air Force and New Mexico's Non Conference Slates would wind up on the Last 2 Weeks of the Season, and in an even numbered Conference, it would take 2 to do any real moves. Colorado State and Wyoming would have had to Non Conference Week 13 just to accomadate Colorado and Colorado State being the Western Final for the Regular Season.

Utah State and Colorado the other way around would have to have Week 13 be Non Conference. I'd wonder if such moves would mean in the Western United States, we'd have 4 Division IA College Football Conferences for the 1st Time Since 2000?
