Here is the double post tonight, being about BOTH the 2019 Commissioner's Classic and the 2019 College Football Board Slate, which I feel like for all the things I am thrown at, good and bad, but, I feel focus is one of the them that is needed bad.
Commissioner's Classic
Week 1 July 28th-August 3rd
July 28th
Virginia Tech @ Hosei Orange
I feel like my challenge is not just trying to send off both a Non Conference and a Non Neutral Virginia Tech Road Game for true, which hardly has happened since 2007, and the fact the Hokies still will be in flames is not going to be unnoticed, because you are better off having Pros in Sports and Entertainment than the Transfer Portal.
Clemson @ Hawaii
"The Honor and Host"
I feel like having to do the opposite of Crashing Mansions is Okay, let alone a High End Hotel. Even though my 2019 Tie for the Regular Season is Hawaii (Clemson) to Hawaii (Ohio State) because the 2nd, would be largely backbaited off if the NCAA Wolves came out.
July 29th
Simon Fraser @ Oxford U.
"The Battle of the Broadcast"
Oklahoma@Georgia Tech
"Welcome to Atlanta"
Miami (FL) @ Richmond
I feel that the Battle of the Broadcast is my first big Perennial Autograph of the Season, and I feel like having to pair Oklahoma and Atlanta as an extension of "Big Never" and where Miami (FL) stands in is for Iowa Wesleyan, who has both Borrowed Time and Money.
July 30th
Nebraska vs. Iowa State @Kansas City
Texas @ Texas A and M
Kentucky@ Washington
Duke @ San Jose State
I am throwing at you a "Heat Check" after Iowa State virtually swept Nebraska last year to join TCU and Oklahoma on Season Sweeps.
And, with the 2nd and Last Year of Hopefully, Texas-Texas A and M State Championships.
I do not think Coach Peterson having a signature win in Seattle is Good. If it was losing the Pac 12 Championship Memorably, losing to Clemson equal parts Memorable and Devasting in the National Championship, I'd command a Dismissal if that does materalize on this rock.
And, Duke and San Jose State would make the year and I feel like wanting to lean in on San Jose State worse, because I feel I'd want to see someone win California from Both Sides a la John McKay's USC.
July 31st
Ole Miss @ Drake
Indiana @ Tennessee
Alabama @ Syracuse
I feel the tug at me is to push Ole Miss all the way in against either Oregon or Jackson State.
I do not think Tennessee has done anything, much less 5-7 ANYTHING, to earn constructive publicity
And, I feel like wanting to tug away another Syracuse upsetting Alabama like we need Auburn NOT be the Head of the Current All Time After All these Years Titles
August 1st
North Carolina @ Cornell College
Illinois State@ Colorado
Other than trying to tie Coach Brown and Eastern Iowa Head Coaching, but, I feel there'd be a "WHAT FOR!" Attitude when Colorado finally upsets USC a Year Late.
August 2nd
Iowa @ Buffalo
Bulking up Iowa's Non Conference Slate with Road Treks and the key would be having a UNI Dome Road Game.
August 3rd
Fresno State@ Stanford
Every year Stanford is expected a lot and does no better than West Virginia. And, this would be the Fresno State Upset that would really start all the other ones.
Week 2 August 5th to 10th
August 5th
"BIG NEVER"
Oklahoma @ Georgia
Stands on its own
August 6th
Kentucky @ Indiana
Columbia (NYC) @ Tennessee
Drake @ Miami (FL)
Look out for Columbia because they almost made my Postseason 300 Consideration.
August 7th
UNLV @ Alabama
Arkansas vs. Texas @ Grim Stadium
Iowa @ Northern Iowa
I am still looking for another Bigger Program defining UW-Whitewater to really kick UNLV Rebels Football into Overdrive.
And, this is the 2nd of the Texarkana Hogs-Horns Sub-Series
And, to fill in the blanks for Northern Iowa always returning to Kinnick, but, Iowa finally reciprocating, albeit for an Upset Loss. (I would be above board of Mr. Barta, but, I feel it'd be necessity)
August 8th
Oregon @ Nebraska
Colorado @ Georgia Tech
I would feel like the Oregon Neon would be too strong in Lincoln and I would, again, centralize the Welcome to Atlanta Series with Colorado actually playing in Atlanta in a series that wouldn't start for another 6 Years
August 9th
North Dakota State @ Wake Forest
I feel North Dakota State is collapsing
August 10th
Georgia State @ Utah
Last year, Georgia State's Upset rang out the fact Utah had a lack of defense.
Week 3 August 12th-17th
August 12th
Drake @ Georgia Tech
The battle of the Farm Capital and the Urban Capital
August 13th
Tennessee @ Delaware
1st Meeting
UNLV @ Kentucky
Iowa @ Tulane Hurricane Make Up: Hoover Met
August 14th
Nebraska @ Oklahoma "STATE PRIDE"
A Very Tell Tale State Pride
Miami (FL) @ Texas
1st Meeting Since the 1990 Season
August 15th
Notre Dame @ Indiana
Notre Dame's State of Shellshockedness is not going unnoticed
August 16th
Virginia @ Colorado
August 17th
Alabama @ Boise State
I actually had to pull slate where Alabama would actually make Treasure Valley (Boise) instead of be neutral ( Boise State vs. Florida State @ Jacksonville)
College Football Board
Bonus Games
9-17
Florida State @ Washington State
Florida State's Amen Matchup because no where in their 62 Season Book would have stated such a game like Bett's Media Person saying Holy Roller which burned Xavier lore in Eastern Iowa.
Northern Iowa @ USC
This would be the Hollywood Inundation and that would be on the base if Northern Iowa inundated Los Angeles Olympic Stadium like it was their homestanding MVC.
9-18
Arizona @ UT-Permian Basin
This is a very convenient Double Play to equal Coach Sumlin's 1st Slate vs. Texas Tech ever (Surprise), and it would involve Ratliff, too, as much as UT-Permian Basin.
Iowa State @ South Carolina
9-25
Slippery Rock @ Michigan (Band Day Rendition)
It would not be enough to have an actual Band Day Rendition on the Band Day 1979 Anniversary that wired, wiled and riled Pop Culture. And, it would not be enough just to mention Slippery Rock in Michigan Stadium's PA Score. And, it would be less than not enough to have Slippery Rock at Michigan Stadium. And, I would actually detail Slippery Rock actually playing Michigan at Michigan Stadium!
10-1
Georgia @ Texas
Iowa @ SMU
I am on my ball here, with tying the 1st 10 to 9 Slating Since the 1950s 9 Months After the 1st 10 to 9 in 35 Years that changed the Sport Forever.
And, I always feel Iowa should play 1 Postseason in Dallas, Houston or New Orleans. But, I had to fix a College Football Board Slating Right to actually play SMU in Dallas.
10-2
Northwestern @ Chicago
Kansas State @ St. Johns (MN)
Oregon @ Portland State
I feel this is the most poignant of the slate days, other than Band Day and Sport Birthday Rendition.
10-8
Florida @ Cal
Ole Miss @ UCLA
Morningside (IA) @ Washington
I feel this is not just ANOTHER Florida going to Bobby Dodd and Georgia Tech Non-Conference Nothing To Offer Out of State, this is Berkeley pray starving a marquee of their own into existance.
And, I feel Dan Guerrero would move his way to skunk another UCLA Year and
Morningside is the defending NAIA Champion AND Washington has Nothing to Offer BUT Losing by Double Digits
10-9
Stanford @ Maine
Oregon State @ Grambling
Michigan State @ North Dakota
I have an Olympic War, a Playoff Worthy Reason Why the Pac 12 Needs to be in the Playoffs and my personal favorite, is Stanford having to roil against Northern Europe, Eastern Canada, and Maine wanting THEIR Autograph!
10-15
Maryland @ Howard
Baylor @ Rhode Island
Minnesota @ Minnesota-Duluth
A decimated Howard, being as in the dark, and not just in the dark, but, Darker than Dark than Dark can humanely imagine, would NFL Blitz Maryland for District Pride.
And, there is Nothing Freakin' Sweeter than Rhode Island upsetting Baylor to lead their State and
The Truck Turns North to Duluth for a One of a Kind Rivalry
10-16
West Virginia @ West Virginia State
Oklahoma @ Mississippi State
Penn State@ Morgan State
West Virginia could not pull it together, Mississippi State has No Discipline AT their School AND Still Upsets Oklahoma OVER Dupree leaving, and Penn State's Final, Infuriating, Insulting, Referendum Day as the Eastern Giant will be met in Baltimore, at Morgan State, because Game Day is already charitable.
10-22
Nebraska @ South Dakota
Kansas @ Clemson
Colorado @ Florida A and M
Georgia State @ TCU
Virginia @ Arizona State
Nebraska loses Sioux City by A Triple Double, Kansas snooks a Florida Sized Upset, Florida A and M reenergizes the Giant, Georgia State Football X adds another Big Upset and Arizona State STILL above their Hall of Fame Grade like Miami needs Herm and Tempe needs Diaz.
10-23
Utah @ Bethune Cookman
Wisconsin @ Valdosta State
Illinois @ Illinois State
Illinois plays for the Heart, Bazemore Hyder is NOT for the Faint of Heart, and when the Workday is Done, I want to see Fun and Daytona Beach not be forced like a robot or liking partying more than being joyless, underrealized, unrealized, unrealizable, underrealizable, unmotivated, unmotivatable and all the drab and battleship grey concrete hurt feelings I could type.
10-29
Texas Tech @ Georgia Tech
Indiana @ Indiana State
Oklahoma State @ McNeese State
SHOWDOWN! SHOWDOWN! SHOWDOWN! And Bielein will be in School in Atlanta this Summer
10-30
Purdue @ Rose Hulman
This would be a real life battle if one did occur.
11-6
Rutgers @ Princeton (150th Birthday of College Football) On it's Real Birthday and the 1st Meeting Since 1973 on the Sport's Birthday!
12-16
Ohio State @ Hawaii
2010s and Teens Final Slate and I am moving my way not to let the Commander In Chief Spacehog the Slate Final and that is Final!
