With Alburnett making the Arena for the 1st Time Ever in Basketball, I feel the second project that has a sense of relation BUT is impossible to do is finding true Sports Unaltered (Non Consolidated and Single School and District).
In Linn County, we have 5 Such Unaltered Town Line Schools in Alburnett, Central City, Springville, Mount Vernon and Lisbon. Marion would be 6, but, you have to keep in mind the suburban creep of Linn-Mar.
And, I doubt Pottawattamie and Woodbury Counties have any real such non-consolidated formentions, and Saydel is holding its own, but, with Centennial, there is no true non consolidated singles in the State Capital County of Polk County. And, in both Scott and Johnson Counties, the combination of traditonal lines would add up to Northern Linn County alone. And, to wrap the Big School Traditional Counties Up, Black Hawk County would have both Jesup and Dunkerton, which are infinities apart in quality, learning and education, equal to both Mount Vernon and Lisbon.
And, this is deepening the subject of how many true Non Consolidated Single Line Districts are there in our state? I think we'd go within a Dallas Sized Landmass of None to a shocking line order and back again. A lot of times, it becomes as awful as Georgia when you'd try to bring up the subject or file a formal request (One, thank you, and that's as many as a Phone Call.), they'd like to change the subject instead.
