LaMelo Ball, in spite of his "Home School" Plan and not being on Chino Hills roster or in Chino Hills High School since October, is going down the road of High School Sports Infamy with Ike Light and Joe Don Looney, among other mercurial and destructive Student Athletes.
I think spite was having everything to do with everything and Lamar Ball trying to keep having a "Ball" , no pun intended, like Riverside County has not restored its identity since Riverside closed and that was 30 Years Ago.
The reality check is if LaMelo tries to ice his way to the LA Kings like no one noticed, he'd really look maladjusted needing to be an NHL All Star. But, would the Los Angeles Lakers look juvenile taking in 2 More Balls and looking like the Minnesota Timberwolves.
And, Chino Hills would have missed big if they had to call LaMelo academically ineligible with his Big Yellow Lambo. But, no one would have challenged like Black Thunder the University of California at Los Angeles, the UCLA Bruins, Los Angeles Lakers, Chino Hills High School and the Chino Hills Unified School District like LaVar Ball when other SoCal Parents would take their kids to Disneyland like its the park.
And, I feel we have 351 Chances to print 2018 National Champions like we have millions of chances of McDonald's All Americans, but, we can't miss the right areas.
