January 1st National Championship of College Football Matchups

And, here are my January 1st National Championship of College Football Matchups, and I will announce my 2022 and 2023 (XXIV and XXV) National Championship of College Football sites, and I feel even though it is ahead of the curve, which I've had College Football Playoffs 15 Seasons before the actual Division IA Playoffs occured, and we are still due for a correct 50 State Playoff.

South Region January 1st
Lakeland Sub-Region
22 Washington 8-3 11-4 vs. 11 Randolph Macon 6-2 9-3

This Matchup would be interesting because Washington NEVER has been Outright National Champion OR Heisman Trophy (West Virginia has the most wins without either remark) and Randolph Macon STILL is salty over being at home in 1998 like Grinnell and both still wish they'd stop Mount Union from Notre Dame and Alabama levels.

27 Findlay 7-2 10-3 @ 6 Southeastern (FL) 4-0 9-1

I don't have as much to say as the 1st Matchup, but, I really like matchups where the Football is expected.

Mt. Berry Sub-Region
19 Maryville (TN) 5-4 7-5 vs. 14 Western Carolina 7-3 9-5

A Great Matchup and Great Regional Matchup

30 Western Illinois 6-4 9-4 @ 3 Berry 10-0 12-0

This being the 5th Year of Football at Berry and this is the first deep run in the Postseason they had at Valhalla.

Coral Gables Sub-Region
23 TCU 8-3 11-3 vs. 10 S. Carolina 7-3 10-4
This would be more of an emotional matchup because both programs would historically play uneven
26 N. Central (IL) 8-2 10-2 @ 7 Miami (FL) 9-1 12-2
This Subregion would be the most Division IA Subregion in my Postseason.

Langston Sub-Region
18 MTSU 6-4 8-6 vs. 15 Albany State 8-2 8-4
Even though I helped MTSU across in avenging 2001, in spite of Rick Stocksill's Conference Championship (or lack of) History. But, on January 3rd, Albany State at Langston would be a better matchup here.

31 Humboldt State 6-3 8-3 @ 2 Langston (OK) 10-0 12-0
A lot of what I've said was spoken about having to assemble an All Time Matchup in HBCU Football, as said above

I'm still salty Wartburg didn't get to go the Salem but Mt. Union did and won?And, West Florida is developing into a Dominant Program.

Home Field is a recurring theme for the Tigers of Memphis this Winter

A Dandy of a Ball Game
29 UW La Crosse 6-3 9-3 @ 4 Kennesaw State 7-0 12-1
The energy around Kennesaw State would make it a dominant program and it is in Year 3.

Lake Charles Sub-Region
24 Dickinson State 9-1 10-2 vs. 9 Carson Newman 7-2 10-3
Dickinson State would have problems overcoming Carson Newman in the fact Carson Newman is playing emotional and with a purpose.
25 Northwestern (IA) 8-2 10-2 @ 8 McNeese State 9-2 11-2
Northwestern of Orange City,IA , who almost caused an all Northwest Iowa NAIA Championship in Daytona Beach, goes on the road to take on McNeese State.

It could be another HBCU Battle between Fayetteville State and Missouri S and T January 3rd

See above and Mary Hardin Baylor missed on the chance to double crown last night, in real time, or to go back to back in earthly Division III.

Buffalo State could set the table for an All-Lottery 90 Subregional Final January 3rd

This would be a great Small College Football Matchup.

This would be the Main Event of this Subregional
Amherst Sub-Region
24 Ferris State 9-2 10-2 vs. 9 LIU Post 8-2 9-2
This would be a dandy of a matchup
25 Fresno State 8-2 11-4 @ 8 Amherst 9-2 9-2
Fresno State is capable of going deep in the Postseason
Doylestown Sub-Region
17 Montclair State 7-4 7-5 vs. 16 UMass 6-8
UMass is very capable of pulling the upset like Georgia Southern, which was actually written in and Notre Dame, which I actually wrote in to Notre Dame postseason skid.
32 Pittsburg State 8-5 8-5 vs. 1 Delaware Valley 10-0 12-0
This would be a settled on the Final Seconds of the Game
Slippery Rock Sub-Regional
22 Winona State 11-2 11-2 vs. 11 Worcester State 7-3 8-4
A Dandy of a D2 Game if they actually met and it would be a thriller of a game
27 Michigan State 8-3 10-4 @ 6 Slippery Rock 9-2 10-2
Michigan State came up from 3-9 via a 2015 Big Ten Championship and I thought it would have taken years for them to make back 2015. Slippery Rock is always mentioned at Sparty's Rival Michigan's Home Games as the lone Small School Score Slate and even part of "Band Day" in the past.

The only all HBCU matchup on New Year's Day in my Championship, and Grambling came into this Postseason with 6 Straight Postseason Wins until being stopped by Alabama A and M
26 Central Michigan 6-3 8-5 @ 7 Austin Peay 9-1 10-4
A-Peay almost went from Winless Streak to National Champions in actual IAA. Central Michigan always is a solid program.
Springfield Sub-Region
18 Lafayette 5-3 5-8 vs. 15 Bryant 6-2 9-5
A dandy of an Eastern Gameday

This would be a Great Matchup in a Great Sub Region and next would be my January 2nd National Championship of College Football Matchups.
