Losing Vern Moats and Victory Motorcycles in the Same Week

I feel as much as I'd wish that all ships would rise, but, reality is hurting in Iowa's Auto Racing scene besides what we don't have. Obviously, with Vern Moats being the most decorated NHRA Champion until Frank Manzo and John Force later eclipsed it, passed away last week. We don't have as many Quarter Mile Drag Strips as Dirt Tracks, and this one hurts a bit more.

And, with Polaris ending Victory's Victory laps is a reality curveball, and not just to Spirit Lake. And, too, other than guarding Victory parts better than Pontiac Parts, but, it is not welcome either. It is not fun to lose a key part or key parts of our culture, but, not everyone is standalone the same way in guarding or keeping the house.

And, there only is trophies if there is sizable standing interests. And, I don't think the IHRA's gone yet, but, not having Barnum and Bailey would mean it'd take 10 to 15 Years to restock in full order a traditional Wisconsin Big Top Circus. And, the World Series of Drag Racing tailing it out of the QCA being equal parts business and culture, but, yet, no one's happy about that decision.

And, both hits to our state are separate but otherwise unrelated, but, I don't know if grabbing parts would bond our heroes to our communities the same as the recount Chuck Etchells and John Force played in the 1990s would hit our Gen X Pros in a few years.
