The Mess of Northeastern US and Eastern Canadian Track Promotion in 2017

I feel like first and last, like the rest of the racing community, I feel leveled in the Waterford Speedbowl's Owner's Arrest on Human Trafficing and the subsequent dismissal by NASCAR of New London-Waterford Speedbowl as this is a watershed blow because it is a track rivalry and that is the reason that there are track rivalries in the Northeast.

And, on this same day, with Mike Collins's Dismissal from SCCA Pro Racing's Presidentcy as the truth will break harder than a levee over him and his wife's legal matters. And, to add to the annoyances, we didn't need WeatherTech nearly trying to ruin a good thing in Endurance Road Racing.

And, I will dig deeper into the what a mess of US Northeastern and Eastern Canadian Track Promotion. The state of play has been watery at best on a solid ground, even without New Hampshire shedding a bad fitting glove of a Fall Race. I don't know about everyone in New England, but, Thompson should be the only one's doing a Fall Final, end of story.

But, in the discomfort in the story when battleship gray newsroom veterans have to take the story instead of racing luminaries, is having to realize we hit the wrong area. Instead of getting mad at the Race of Champions for their silent wall 2 Winters Ago, we should not have rushed a National Modified Tour again. It's not the the Northern Modified Tour Generation, and we don't have nearly enough 35 Year Olds to keep the family show alive, or care to. And, I feel like as a trial Super CARS Consolidator, try to have a legit Southern Modified Series that would be consolidated the Modifieds of Mayhem and the SMART Tour, and try to make it a pavement series. I feel, honestly, there are deeper onions, like Syracuse rotting the onion like a flower over Super DIRT Week which there is blame galore through out Eastern Canada and the Northeast like it was a movie.

And, this TransAm has not had the stars or the cars, and I am not wanting to be a bad sport, but, even if they'd did, they'd want to petition Thompson to Cup. I've tried to hit a 3rd Term for Indy at New Hampshire to make up for Boston. And, to add to the irration, the Dirt Modifieds, a uniquely Northeastern Sport too, has taken off and truly stuck the landing in Boone and Marshalltown. But, I feel solutions would have to be deeper than the shipyards in Boston or Baltimore.

And, what is not positive is Pocono is not a great venue, even with belated safety add ons and Dover's right sizing, technically in the Southeast, would be "I Love You Came Too Late 2", and I think Mark Donohue and Richie Evans would be flip at the mishandling or worse of their venues and worse, not running deep enough with Detroit. Even though we in a Play Everyone Phase, but, that is not a good image.
