Chances are, the Longhorn Economy would move up before it moves back down. And, the whole purpose of the Longhorn Economy was rounding the bases on the Rose Bowl, Football National Championship, and a keeping Kevin Durant away from twin NCAA Outsized at the Erwin Center.
One Championship or Rose Bowl would move anyone's economy. But, it would take special circumstances to have a Longhorn Economy sprouting. West Des Moines Valley and West Des Moines Dowling where great at a lot of things, but, not enough to back a Tiger Economy or Maroon Economy.
If Iowa City High or Harlan made a Little Hawk Economy or a Cyclone Economy, they'd have to Win Everything in front of them, build things that weren't there before, like Ice Hockey,Gymnastics, which would have to be a necessary evil bridge, Field Hockey and Lacrosse. It would have to perform at such a heightened level that Iowa or Iowa State wouldn't be great enough, but Sports Hall of Famers and Hollywood Stars, Starlets and Celebritites.
And, we'd have to have the system down and then some. We'd have to play Game Day like Dunbar in Baltimore, because there is no other alternative or Roman Gods.
