I feel like wanting to pry the theater of wanting to reenact the greatest Qualifying Moment in Indy 500 History with a Spare Foyt Chassis AND The Same Pit Crew from the year Stefan Gregoire tried to bump Arie Luyendyk,Jr. from the Indy 500?
Frankly, the pretense is bench racing at its best. And , would we risk our necks just for someone who's only not raced an IndyCar Start this Decade or a Formula One Start? And, I feel like seeing if AJ Foyt would pull the old spare chassis tactic one last time? (Hey, it could really be the One Last Time he'd pull that tactic!)
And, I feel the chariots would want a different chassis other than Dallara and one that would not burn on impact. And, we'd know we'd be out of 20th Century Indy 500 Heroes on the track, but, I feel as if all options are on the table.
The hole in the story that wouldn't hold water is AJ Foyt wouldn't recall anyone he'd fired. And, speaking of holes, I wonder if in storytelling, it would be one tough and unpleasant win if TK got injured the same matter as Bourdais did last year and the 14 missed the greatest spectacle in racing.
I feel we'd need to keep our options on the table so we don't brawl for Brian Vickers, Sam Hornish,Jr. and Buddy Rice.
