The MEAC Dissolution would break Open Conference Realignment

It would not be a pretty picture, and I would think the MEAC Dissolution would break open Conference Realignment. Other than inviting City or State Championships (LSU vs. Southern, LSU vs. Grambling) or inviting the Power Counterpart to the HBCU on Martin Luther King Day, I would believe that especially in the South Atlantic, it would be a license to start the conference.

One of my many tropes in the Commissioner Classic Series is bring up matchups that would not have happened, would have never happened, big matchups, revivals and  International Matchups with actual International Colleges. I would think that the ACC would have a very rude breakup later on.

It would involve Florida State and Georgia Tech being in the SEC to keep a Conference Championship Game and I would say for Florida State, having to start every year with Florida A and M and Miami (FL). It would be big to have Florida host Miami (FL) in the Swamp on Labor Day Weekend.

Florida State- Florida A and M would be more believable than the usual SWAC-MEAC Challenge that would be lost under lightning. I would say if Southern came across town to LSU, it would be one thing, but, if LSU came on down to Mumford Stadium, it would be a pure sellout.

It would be the difference between Michigan making the trek to Eastern Michigan and having another Band Day annually. I would think it would make it easier to have the White Whale Game or the White Whale Upset every year, and that would make a difference to South Florida's Existence upsetting Miami or Virginia Tech or UConn or Rutgers's Existence too.

I would think the chance for the Playoffs would change certain things on the schedule, and not having to choose between the Division II Playoffs or a Rivalry Week. I would feel like where the difference between a Rice or a UTEP having to Homecoming their Rivals again would mean at least another IAA or HBCU filling in the key blanks in the Purported South Central Conference.
