Blog #1700: Achievements

I'd like to focus on achievements on this 1700th Blog, and we'd have the 600th Truck Series Race Next Friday and Ovi's 700th Goal at some point, which is NOT a Bonds Watch, but, having to realize without the "Surprise" 2012-2013 Lockout, that achievement would have been 90 Days Sooner in 2019 like LeBron did not miss those 16 Games due to the 2011 NBA Lockout, which would have been a month sooner (his 3rd in Scoring Standing).

At 2020 Gander RV and Outdoor Truck Series Season's End, we'd have 621 Starts and Hopefully, our 18th Series Champion. I would not necessarily want Matt Crafton to be Back to Back a 2nd Time, which would really open up the Record Books, but, I feel like I would want my 18th Truck Series Champion.

We'd be closer to our 3100th Cup Series Racer one way or another. We'd, from my knowledge, would be 3091 Cup Series Starters as of Sunday and it would not be realistic to just see 3100 Starters Go Down in 2020, because there are nowhere enough Cars.  We'd have 2 Ford Achievements this Year (100th Truck Series Victory and 100th Wood Brothers Victory), and a Potential 200th Cup Series Race Winner, which would rewrite the Series Record for different 1st Time Winners.

I couldn't change history, but there are some things I couldn't dare. We don't just exist for certain things because in the end, it would boil down to what kind of people we are.

If we had a Full Parts Pro Stock Car Season, we'd have 85 Winners to match Bob Glidden's Wins. If we had 75 Pro Stock Winners in its 50th Year, it would have upset the Championship. We are 7 Away from 100 Funny Car Winners and we have not have had a True 1st Time Funny Car Winner Since 2014, and and we are nowhere to 128 Top Fuel Winners, because we don't have 20 New Top Fuel Rails.

I'd love to see 75 Indianapolis 500 Winners by Memorial Day Summer Next Year and 17 Brickyard 400 Heroes in 18 Months.  I've even aired if Scott Dixon went Wire to Wire in the Indianapolis 500, but, that is still very unlikely.
