I feel like in this forced sojourn, not allegedly out of choice, I feel like is Michigan-Ohio State in Jeopardy of Losing Full National Coverage? Other than having to correct and redirect course, the Bingo Board of Michigan War Game Underacheivements has been embarassing.
It changes a whole state for worse and Michigan is NOT Mississippi. Actually, they've been the front of the Nation, World and Universe. I doubt any of the families that made the Superior State of Michigan what it is are really interested in hanging on.
If Ohio State is not careful, it would easily become another Texas A and M. Or worse, never quite get the wind beneath their wing like California. I don't know if this is Playoff Pertinent, but, Notre Dame would have missed on key receivers that would have extended their years later, Michigan State just lost it Jayru on and Penn State is not helmed by anyone who'd enforce integrity like he was the Sheriff.
This presents its own problems, even in a normal Spring. If Indiana puts themselves up for a Hometown Championship, and I've waived that carrot in front of people for the decade we've had the Big Ten Championship Game, and Rutgers mystically wins 6 in order to "MUST WIN" Iowa or Wisconsin out of a Legit National Championship, that would be its own issue.
The options for the Victors are bordering on thin if Harbaugh did not pan out. It would be a bigger and more wasteful St. John's where they are expected to helm the Conference, but, are appealed by their own issues.
"Their" temper would be legendary if the 13 Year War was their Lone Loss. Or if the Rose Bowl loss cost them a National Championship. It is a Greek Rivalry like the Nation, if one did exist throughout both communities.
