You couldn't just fundraise your way out of this. It would bother me if they took the Limp Bizkit Route in having Fake or Inappropriate Names Replace Wes Borland, which that broke the band up in the first place.
I am thinking this is a Wooden Nerve that at some point, Pauley Pavilion or the Rose Bowl is going to get marked for a replacement. UCLA always goes between being Madly Relentless to Madly Disinterested and all of it begins and ends with the Administration.
I feel that the all-around pain of being a Bruin is symptomatic of having a Weak West Coast College Sports Culture and your seeing things that would not normally be things elsewhere a Culture. Usually, it begins and ends around Christmas or Winter Break, which something comes up as in an Ill-Timed But Necessary Firing or having to leave Wolfpack Fans High and Dry in Southern California.
Los Angeles College Football is in the Worst Shape its ever been. And, I mean Ever! I wouldn't mind a True Freshman having to Evolve to be a Fixture in the Campus and the Community, but, instead, they are just as filthy as Texas to getting people to agree to Garbage Time Commitments.
This is California and they have more than a Few Questions about Playoff Football.
