Blog #1583: The Fury-LFR Chassis Rage War Won't Go Away

I feel like for the Other DEI Related/Induced Blog Posts at a Later Time and Place: 1815, 3815, 3831,3840, I would like to shine my focus on the Modifieds and Not Just The Modifieds, the Fury-LFR Chassis Rage War.

Modifieds has lost key people on a left and right basis as the Last Decade Ran Out, and among them, the Connecticut State Championship has seen Waterford Change Management in the Worst Way, and Thompson, instead of being in the Short Line for Winston Cup, is daring their racers to "Stay Home". Even ARCA and the Subsequent Menards National is taking air space and territory away from a hazardous 35th of the the 1st Regional Modified Series.

There is not the interest curried for another Southern Modified Series, and I am splint that they'd have the nerve to do a Party in the USA before they tried Rockford or Madison. That is not what Modified People are splint in the National Revival Era (Since 2017) about.

The Fury-LFR Chassis Rage War diminishes the entry blanks and both Fury and LFR where hated and heated chassis archrivals. I'd expect an Evans Ford or a Cook Chevy if it had to run deep. This is so deep that your territory is your territory and they'd race their rivals like they'd race their rivals home track.

The parts of this story which have more holes than the entirety of the 1970s is there where broken mergers, cooked books, and my personal favorite, no real agreement on whether to use the Fury Name or the LFR Name, which the Wooden Shoe is Fury-LFR.

We've had series pop in and out like Cheers, and worse than that, fixtures I'd thought would be fixtures into their 4th, 5th, 6th Season not be. I think the area the Flagship Modifieds are Behind the Times About is expanding past the 1978-1988 Celebrity Styled Bodyworks when other Series (Monsters of Modifieds, SPEARS Southwest) are doing better and more modern chassises. This would not all be resolved in time for the Icebreaker, but, I do believe that we'd have to be hash about solutions.
