2021 Commissioner's Classic Week 1 Matchups

For the first week of the Commissioner's Classic, a lot of my matchups are frontloaded key rivalries that we missed out on in 2020.

For August 2nd, 2021 , here are the matchups

Florida @ Florida State

Georgia @ Georgia Tech

Clemson @ South Carolina

Kentucky @ Louisville

Notre Dame @ Navy

All of these are annuals and the Extra Crispy Sweetener is having Notre Dame go to Navy Marine Corps at Annapolis as a makeup for their rescheduled Navy Home Game

For August 3rd, 2021, here are the matchups

Iowa @ Iowa State

TCU @ SMU

Colorado @ Colorado State

Utah @ BYU

New Mexico @ New Mexico State

All these matchups are territorial and in state, especially if everyone but the Cy-Hawk is the same market.

For August 4th, 2021, here are the matchups

Indiana @ Tennessee

Oklahoma @ Nebraska

Texas @ Texas A and M

Miami (FL) @ Arizona

Alabama @ San Jose State

The first matchup is the Revival Barrel, then State Pride, then the Lone Star State Championship, then Arizona gets their swing at the Program that denied the Road to the Super Bowl and Alabama actually playing at San Jose State would be a tempest

8-5-2021

Ohio State @ UNLV

Michigan @ Hawaii

Marshall @ Washington

Buffalo @ Oregon

Texas Tech @ USC

All these games are West Coast Hosts and I feel my favorite is loading up on Big Non Conference Opponents in Las Vegas.

8-6-2021

Penn State @ Pitt

Kansas @ Missouri

Syracuse @ Washington State

Virginia Tech @ California

Ole Miss @ Air Force

Having 2 Traditional Rivalries, Syracuse winding up in the Palouse, Beamer Ball in the East Bay and Ole Miss having THE Triple Option to deal with

8-7-2021

Virginia @ West Virginia

Fresno State @ North Carolina

Stanford @ Duke

Ball State @ Cincinnati

San Diego State @ UConn

Having a Territorial Rivalry, Fresno State alter the course of a different program, Stanford and Duke, Cincinnati hosting Ball State and UConn hosting San Diego State.

Tomorrow I will post my Commissioner's Classic Week 2 and I wanted to focus on Division IA This Year and not do Mount Union-North Dakota State or Oklahoma-Mt. St. Mary's
