I have to admit that when Damon Lillard Leaves Portland, Do Not, and I mean Do Not Expect a LeBron Reunion! It makes me mad that the Trail Blazers always have to rely on Dame Time so much that they do not have anything else.
The Trail Blazers Front Office has been a Simpsons Episode and other than being stately, professional, and not causing fights in the Portland Community, there has to be a time and a place to cut your losses.
Sadly, the Portland Trail Blazers are incapable of such moves. You don't build a Franchise Centerpiece and at least, get a Championship out of it.
A lot of the Trail Blazers Front Office has been Head Strong and not thought things through.
