I feel we have had our fun with the All Star Race being moved away from Charlotte Motor Speedway, or better yet, we'd need an All Star Policy to reinforce having the True Annual All Star Race, which would not be easy vs. Lockouts and Strikes and COVID-19.
Where I would need the True Annual Policy should we get a New Nashville or Rockingham or literally anyone else that builds a new track. I would like that more than having to raise cane about missing having to be a Feature vs. Indianapolis 500 Qualfying.
I'm not fond of Kyle Larson, or telling the World Kyle Larson would be an All Star Defender for the 1st Time in Charlotte, or Chase Elliott being an All Star Champion for the 1st Time in Charlotte or Cole Custer winning his way to his Maiden Charlotte All Star Race. Denny Hamlin is doing a 1990 or 1991 Morgan Shepherd Year and he's never run Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway like he never run Rockingham or Newton.
What is worse than Matt Kenseth leading by 1987 Dale Earnhardt Numbers is having Denny Hamlin winning by 1990 or 1991 Morgan Shepherd Midseason Numbers and we couldn't stop a 1965 Ford or a 2005 Roush in Progress! Other than getting big mad that we hadn't restarted the Old Hickory after Geoff Bodine, we'd have a Texas World Oak to Smoke While We Got It like Winston instead!
I'd really, really, really like to see another Shocker or even a Star Maker out of the All Star. Other than having to get a kick out of Michael McDowell who wouldn't be an All Star through Social Media, nor he has an interest in Social Media, I didn't necessarily see one True Rookie in the Race.
If we go back to Charlotte, I'd hope Harrison Burton or Austin Cindric starts to begin to make an All Star Career out of their Careers. I don't necessarily think Denny Hamlin's going anywhere except being Owner-Driver and that would be likelier to woo Harrison Burton to Cup.
