I want to connect 2 Separate But Unrelated Stories from this NFL Draft Weekend into this post: Because North Dakota State Lost, we'd miss out on a Rare Mother's Day North Dakota-North Dakota State Playoff Meeting and Nobody From the HBCU's got their names called at the NFL Draft.
For not having a 2020 Calendar Season, we have some seriously strange bedfellows as in Every SEC Program jamming the Phones for the NFL, and having the Buffalo's and San Jose States nearly finish undefeated. But, there are some other, not funny situations, too.
We did not have a Calendar 2020 Championship in Division IAA and for every table jump like the Attitude Era went into Season 25, Northern Iowa's Teams they still fund and support have not won a National Championship since Before Star Wars and the Rugby Club, which gets no University Fields or Support, became Regional Champions.
We did not have a Division II or III Championship and we won't have a true Division III Championship again until Fall. What this causes is a not one time scenario where you'd have to generate attention to these schools, and the whole purpose is to keep kids in school.
For every program that has 1993 Numbers like Alabama, there has to be real issues with Tennessee and Kansas. People's hard earned money has to go to something constructive and what I would find is having to open the box on Non Conference Scheduling or even the actual Conference Lines just to make money and get your games back.
A lot of places and a lot of places you'd have to fundraise just to keep kids on scholarship and out of trouble and you'd do that more than salaries or facilities, where there are a lot of places where the facilities are falling apart.
