I do not like for the second straight season, the Calder Cup is not going to be up for grabs. And, that causes problems for the Iowa Wild and nothing good comes out of a season that is abandoned. I feel like there would have been a Calder Cup Defense at least had it not been for the Pandemic and the fact too much time had gone by to orderly have a Calder Cup.
First of all, it is not okay! Other than having ties to the Wild and Des Moines, the fact that among other things, the Iowa Wolves had not played a true home game this Winter. To be frank, I am salty over not having a Calder Cup.
It feels like Oil and Water and the City Council and School Board, which I can't resist because they had the nerve to try that again in Lisbon, and no one benefited from it and people are not real happy over it in the first place.
Having to scuttle 2 Seasons has had a negative effect on Seattle's AHL Affillate's Paperwork and that has not helped. I don't know if the fact of the matter is Minor League Hockey would have to be having more leagues just to encourage more teams is inevitable.
