2000th Post: Would have the 1987 Arena Football League had gone the Promotion/Demotion Route?

I feel like for as much fuss as Major League Soccer is trying to push a Promotion/Demotion path, but, had the 1987 Arena Football League stuck today, would have any expansions have gone to Arena Football 2 and any worst teams would been demoted to Arena 2 with no National Television in the Regular Season.

I would feel like Quad City, Tulsa and Tennessee Valley would have been promoted and Arena Football Powerhouses within a matter of years. Richmond, Fort Myers and Spokane would have been yo-yo members within a few years, only being their for the experience.

The Yo-Yo Promotion Demotion would have been common in England, where the team would be demoted from the Premier League, Win the Championship and return to the Premier League and get demoted, all in a 4 Year Period. It would not necessarily been specific to a 4 Year Period, but, it would have been rough to the Football Development and Self Esteem

There would be programs who'd take their role serious and others who would more likely not take their roles seriously enough, like they'd go about narcoleptic the same matter until they are demoted.

If it was a Calendar Yo-Yo, it would confuse both leagues and it would not be helpful where we'd live in a bubble or a vacuum and just going down leagues would be problematic and confusing.

In reality, other than having to go to court just to restart the league and having to need to pay the Workman's Comp from the 2010 League just to even restart the league and have a proper National Television deal.
