I don't necessarily want to put up reaction posts on Mother's Day, which would go as well as Bad Beer and Mother's Day, but, the Solon Spartans seem to make it a habit to not have good coaching stay. Good coaching is as commonplace as where these signs are and even though the town has grown like a weed, but, they can't seem to make good coaching stick.
Even though the Mount Vernon rivalry feels like it is Turkey Day, because we have no anything at School, but, everyone seems to make it a habit to run around like Peak Iowa City High. Even though this is a discussion that would lead nowhere fast, but, I feel like there has to be a sense of letting go at the worst possible time.
Most of these Football Districts where switched up this year because of Des Moines Public Schools lowering the state's bar, but, we'd know who is the Higher Bar. I don't think anyone wears out their Davenport West or Des Moines North the same as someone who'd regularly make a Championship Run.
What I would like to see is leaving more of the on hours on and the off hours off. I feel that would be unrealistic currently, but, that would be one less construction bill for the Stadium or Field House and not any negative publicity.
