I feel that what if we challenged the Indy Car Closed Circuit Record? Coming off of yesterday's post where I ID'ed the Indianapolis Record, and having a World Championship, and having to rack and stack every Super Speedway and not just the usual Newton/Richmond split or Sister Swap. If we had to spot 250 under the Las Vegas Neon, to have a Full Race again, it would have to do Yeoman's Work to put the record in Indianapolis's Hands.
I don't know if Toyota Atlantic at Chicagoland would play well with 20,000 People. That would be 20,000 People and their Fan Bases, too, and we couldn't pull anyone on down for nothing. People would have to naturally be interested before you'd motion Japanese Van Racing to Hawkeye Downs.
What it would have done having Super Speedway on top of Super Speedway is you'd pique people's curiosity for Track Record after Track Record to happen. Within the scene, you'd have to reinvest commitments into Oval Racing before such a thing where to happen because the Indy would be Toronto's Race and Toronto's Hometown Race.
Toronto's Fans would act strongly if they had the Canadian Grand Prix and Montreal had the Indy Car Race. I would think that strategy would not work and I doubt the chair would be too happy with "Let's Have a Regular Season Equal to a Bowl Game Just to Have One."
I would think such a record would go down sooner rather than later and we would need more Super Speedways along the way.
