Why Not UNLV-UNR on Nevada Day Every Year?

I feel like having to start this Post Day about the Nastiest Rivalry in the American West having its own day, Nevada Day every year? I wouldn't waste the Rendition Day or Circumstance Series, because of reasons, but, I would believe that the Reno Silver State Rivalries would mean even more because Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and it would be the Only On-Campus Link to the Rivalry for at least a 30 to 50 Year Period.

I'd think the joy and thrill every October 26th of a Nevada Day Matchup would lock the Frontchannel Dials better than the #MACtion that omnipresently takes up our late Fall. I would believe for Reno to stay a Division I Athletic Department, the Roads have to be good or relative, and it is not an easy place to get to.

Nationally, marketing the Nastiest Rivalry in the West would be a Bonanza in more ways than one. It would not all be about Ambush Marketing, which is not sustainable and a Monday Night Silver State Matchup at Allegiant Stadium would at least be testing the limits of 2 Bye Weeks for Both Schools and I don't know if the Raiders would miss the chance in return of Marketing Pressing Your Luck to Rival NFL Markets.

It would mean a Bye the Next Weekend (October 31st) in 2020 and that would be the best and worst thing, especially if the cicadian rhythm of scheduling and polling was to be disrupted for a One Off. The trickier part would be having to deal with other Early Week Silver State Dates, which a Tuesday/Wednesday would mean losing a week before and after, which would not always be available.
